Bertrand Mas-Fraissinet is a senior doctor, head of the « anesthesia and resuscitation of the children's heart disease unit », CHU Marseille - Hôpital de la Timone. He has submitted the 2013-2014 course in "Management and Health Policy" in Sciences Po Paris.

He has been engaged for many years in defense of access to care and public Hospital. As such, he is coordinator since July 2012 with the institutional project "Pôle Universitaire de Santé AP-HM, primary care for Northern districts of Marseille."

Member of the management team of the "Think Tank Different", author of notes : "The state can no longer ignore its medical deserts" and "Hospital : temporary crisis or epistemological break? " published respectively in June 2012 and February 2014, co-editor of the book « Hospital in intensive care» published in November 2011 by Editions du Croquant, Bertrand-Mas Fraissinet currently holds the position of:
- 1st Vice President of Pasteur Mutualité Group (2012-) and chairman of the supervisory board of its subsidiary insurance GPMA (2015-).

He previously served as:
- Co-Chairman of the Standing Committee of the FHF "Attractiveness of hospital medical careers" (2013-2014);
- Chairman of the National Union of Hospital Practitioners Anesthesiologists and Resuscitators - Expanded, SNPHAR-E (2013-2014);
- Co-founder and treasurer of the trade union Avenir Hospitalier (2011-2013);
- Secretary General of the ISNI (2000 - 2001);
- Doctor in the intensive care unit of the Great Ormond Street Hospital, GOSH, London (2008).
