Olivier is the LREM party member in the National Assembly for Isère and the lead analyst (rapporteur-général) for the government budget. He was in charge of the health policy platform for Emmanuel Macron’s election campaign. A physician, and a Neurologist at Grenoble-La-Tronche CHU teaching hospital, he also has an Executive Master’s degree in Health Policy and Management from the Paris Institute of Political Studies. Prior to that he was a spokesman for the French National Association of Hospital Interns Unions (InterSyndicat National des Internes des Hôpitaux), as chief departmental advisor to physicians in Isère. A Member of the National Assembly from 2012 to 2015, he was health insurance analyst for the 2015 budget, and prevention measures analyst for the French healthcare modernisation Act. He has published reports on the use of locums in hospitals and on the blood chain, has recently chaired the committee on methods of financing health facilities, and authored two reports in 2016 and 2017. He is also regional consultant to Auvergne Rhône Alpes.
