After graduating from the Ecole Polytechnique and the Ecole Nationale des Ponts & Chaussees, two of France’s most prestigious engineering schools, Antoine Dubout began his career in northern France, first as a civil engineer within the department’s infrastructure division and then as director of the two ports Boulogne-sur-Mer and Calais. He subsequently worked in real-estate and managed some real-estate firms (ICP, Perexia, Gestrim Lamy, Kéops, Sagi, Sogima) and social housing companies (Logirem, Efidis, Sagecoo, Samopor).
Heavily involved in the healthcare and social services sector, he was director of the association ‘Retravailler Provence’ from 1992 to 1996, and has been President of the Foundation and Association of the Hôpital Saint Joseph in Marseille since 2003.
In 2008, he became President of the Fédération des Etablissements Hospitaliers et d’Aide à la Personne (FEHAP), a position he still holds. He has also been vice-President of the Credit Cooperatif since 2015. Antoine Dubout is an Officer of the Legion of Honour, the highest accolade within the French civil service, and has also been awarded the Gold Medal from the Ministry of Health and Social Affairs.
