Pascal Gené is a Doctor in Veterinary Medicine, graduated from Alfort French National Veterinary School in 1985. He begun his career as an assistant teacher in Biological and Medical Physics and Chemistry at Alfort Veterinary School, but also veterinary press writer, clinician, and as a participant in a research program at Synthélabo (now Sanofi). His passion for Information Technologies led him join IBM France in 1988, where he has had several positions in sales, working for different industries such as distribution, consumer packaged goods, hospitals, pharmaceutical industry, and financial institutions. He completed his education by entering executive courses at INSEAD, London Business School or Boston University. As of January 2017, he took a position within the IBM Watson Health business unit, as France Sales Executive. IBM Watson Health was launched in 2015 to focus on cognitive solutions for healthcare and life sciences professionals, such as treatment assistance for oncologists,
or medical imaging analysis assistance.
