Laurence Comte-Arassus holds a Master’s degree from ESTA in Belfort. She also holds a degree from Glasgow Caledonian University and Wharton University in Pennsylvania. She has extensive experience in sales and marketing management.
After beginning her career at ECS (Europe Computer System) and then joining Boston Scientific, she has spent most of her career working with medical technologies.
She joined Medtronic in 2002, occupying various managerial positions in the Cardiac Rhythm and Heart Failure (CRHF) Division. In 2008, she was appointed Director of the Diabetes Division in France. In 2012, she became the Director of the Cardiac and Vascular (CVG) Group in France.
In February 2015, Laurence Comte-Arassus was appointed President of Medtronic France, which has 1,300 employees, three production sites and one training centre and is headquartered in Boulogne-Billancourt.
She is a member of the Board of Directors and of the Bureau of the Syndicat National des Technologies Médicales (SNITEM).
Since 2017, Laurence Comte-Arassus is also a member of the think tanks “Cercle Valeur Santé” and “Économie Santé Les Echos”.
