Jean SIBILIA

Professor of Universities - Hospital Practitioner, Jean Sibilia is Dean of the Faculty of Medicine of Strasbourg since 2011. Vice President of the National Conference of Deans from 2016 to 2018, he is the President since 1 February 2018.
He was president of the National Committee for Research Coordination (CHU-CH) from 2012 to 2016. He is co-head of the National Reference Center for Systemic Autoimmune Diseases (CHU Strasbourg) and deputy director of the Inserm Unit UMR_1109: Molecular Immuno-Rheumatology. He is also medical director of a project FHU (University Hospital Federation project) and he leads, as President, the new foundation FORCE intended to support medical research.
He is an elected member of the Board of the University of Strasbourg since 2017 and member of the Collegium Vie et Santé.
Jean Sibilia has been president of the Rheumatism and Inflammation Club (IRC), a scientific cooperating group forming an investigative network (IRC IMIDIATE) with more than 2000 investigators interested in autoimmune and auto-inflammatory diseases. He is responsible for Interuniversity Degrees for inflammatory rheumatism, autoimmune diseases, biomedicines and interventional rheumatology.
