Philippe Emery started his career within Johnson-Johnson in 1993 in France through sales and marketing positions where he developed his first experience in telemonitoring and automated printed data reports for people with diabetes.
He joined Abbott in 1999 and has since rose through marketing and management roles, becoming General Manager of the Diabetes division in 2006, for France, North Africa and Belgium.
Abbott's sensor-based technology launched in 2014, helping to liberate patients with diabetes, is a disruptive technology in France, inducing the change in standard of care and positive impacts on patient's quality of life.It's also the heart of a digital eco-system allowing telemonitoring as part of the French ETAPES pilot program.
A graduate of ESSEC Business School, Philippe Emery's career spans over 25 years in the Med Tech industry.
