Deputy CEO of the Regional Council of Ile-de-France, Cédric Arcos is in charge of sports, health, solidarities policies, and public innovation. He is a fervent advocate of the n
eed for a territorial approach for health and solidarity policies, and advices Valérie Pécresse in the deployment of the “région solidaire” program, whose principles were adopted by the Regional Assembly in June 2018. Also, teacher at Sciences Po Paris, he is a committed actor within the health system and has served as Deputy General delegate of the French Hospital Federation (FHF) and Director in the Academic Hospital of Lyon. Cédric Arcos is an active participant in the public debate on the transformation of the health system. He is the author of several articles and books, devoted in particular to the hospital reform and managerial ethics. Very interested on the European and international scene, he was appointed by the Danish Government to be the Ambassador of his health system in France and represents France within the International Hospital Federation. In 2019, he was also distinguished by the prestigious Institut Choiseul ranking as one of the “100 economic leaders of tomorrow”.
