Born in 1976, historian by training and member of the State Council, Aurélien Rousseau has been Chief Executive Officer of the Regional Health Agency of Île-de-France since September 2018. Before this, he held the position of Cabinet Deputy Director and Social Advisor to the Prime Minister between 2015 and 2017, a position in which he monitored, among other things, health issues and solidarity policies. He was also Deputy Director of the Office of the Mayor of Paris and then Deputy Secretary General of the City of Paris, where he was in charge of the metropolitan worksite and of all the urban planning projects. In March 2018, when he was Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of the Paris Mint, he was appointed by the Minister of Solidarity and Health to lead the project to transform the health system dedicated to human resources.
