Véronique Trillet-Lenoir is a Member of the European Parliament since 2019. Vice-coordinator for the Renew Europe group in the Environment, Public Health and Food Safety Committee (ENVI), she is also seating in the Employment and Social Affairs Committee (EMPL) as a substitute member. She chairs the MEPs Against Cancer group in the European Parliament, gathering more than 120 Members from different political groups. She is notably shadow rapporteur for the new EU4Health Programme.
Medical oncologist and Professor at the University Hospital of Lyon by profession, she has experiences as a clinician, teacher and researcher as well as President of a French Cancer cluster and Administrator of the French National Cancer Institute. She is a Member of Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes Regional Assembly since 2015.
