Nathalie Colin-Oesterlé holds a degree in Notarial law and Real estate law from the Panthéon-Assas University.
She was elected City Councillor of the city of Metz in 2001, Regional Councillor in 2010 and in 2015 she became Departmental Councillor of the canton of Metz and from 2015 to 2019 Second Vice President of the Departmental Board of Moselle.
She was elected member of the European Parliament in 2019 (Group of the European People's Party - Christian Democrats).
She sits as a full member of the Committee on the Environment Public Health and Food Safety (ENVI) and as substitute on the Committee on Civil Liberties, Justice and Home Affairs (LIBE).
In the Committee ENVI, she was particularly interested in health issues. She is the author of the Report on the shortage of medicines voted in the plenary session of September 2020.
