Luc DELPORTE

Luc Delporte, Director of Procurement and Access to Innovation at Unicancer, is in charge of contracting over 1.3 billion euros in annual purchases of highly innovative products inherent to precision medicine practiced in CLCCs (Comprehensive Cancer Centers). Unicancer's purchasing and access to innovation policy is part of the medical and scientific project and facilitates access to cutting-edge treatments for the benefit of patients, through tenders that closely involve healthcare professionals and enable partnerships to be set up with industry players. Within this framework, Luc Delporte also ensures the development of a specialized training program to transfer knowledge and best practices in the fields of research, diagnostics, and treatment techniques.
A graduate of the HEC Master in Global Sourcing and Supply Chain, Luc Delporte joined Unicancer in 2011 after holding positions as purchasing director in the industry. Since 2016, he has been Chairman of CLAPS, the association of healthcare product buyers, whose members handle 80% of healthcare product purchases in France. CLAPS fosters the efficiency of the healthcare pathway by supporting innovation, and promotes the development of Value Based Procurement and sustainable purchasing.
