    Sébastien Guerard has been President of the French Federation of Rehabilitation Physiotherapists (FFMKR) since 2019 and President of the National Union of Health Professionals (UNPS) since September 2023. A graduate of Rouen University Hospital in 2003, he has a private practice in Saint-Nazaire-en-Roussillon (66), specializing in shoulder physiotherapy. He is former Vice-President of the French Shoulder Rehabilitation Society (SFRE) and former President of the National Professional Council (CNP-CMK) for physiotherapy. Sébastien Guerard advocates cross-functional cooperation among healthcare professionals, recognition and enhancement of the specific skills of each healthcare provider, and "permeability" between city and hospital care by rethinking the approach based on prevention, to meet the challenge of an ageing population and increase the lifespan in good health of the population.
