Eric DUCOURNAU joined PIERRE FABRE Laboratories as Director of the chairman's office in January 2000. He was named PIERRE FABRE general secretary in 2004, then Deputy general manager in March 2011. He is for instance in charge of legal affairs of the company and market access for Medical Care Business Unit.

In January 2013, Eric DUCOURNAU was named managing director of PIERRE FABRE DERMO-COSMETICS. He became chairman in August 2013 following the death of Mr. Pierre Fabre.

In July 2018, Eric DUCOURNAU was named CEO of PIERRE FABRE Group and continues to chair PIERRE FABRE DERMO-COSMETIQUE.

In July 2025, Eric DUCOURNAU was made a Knight of the National Order of the Legion of Honour.

He was administrator of the BOIRON Group from 2005 to 2012, director and treasurer of LEEM from 2007 to 2012, and is one of the co-founders of G5 Santé as a representative of the company. He has been Chairman of the Board of Directors of TBS Education (Toulouse Business School) since November 2025.

Eric DUCOURNAU is 58 years old (07/12/1967), married with 2 children. He is a graduated from Sciences Po Bordeaux and holds a master's degree in public law.
