    Suzette Delaloge is a medical oncologist and researcher specializing in breast cancer and cancer prevention. After practicing for 26 years at Gustave Roussy, where she developed numerous national and international programs in the fields of oncology and precision prevention, healthcare organization, and the use of real-world data, she was appointed president of the National Cancer Institute on June 29, 2026.

    The pillars of her five-year term at the helm of the Institute are the development of a new era in cancer prevention, a constant commitment to equity and humanity in all oncology initiatives, and research as a driver of transformation and a solution for a better future.

    She is the author of more than 400 peer-reviewed international publications and has given more than 1,000 presentations at international conferences. She serves as an editor for international journals and is a member of numerous scientific advisory boards. Suzette Delaloge is a Knight of the Legion of Honor and an Officer of the Order of Merit.
