    Pauline Martin, born on 25 September 1966, is a French politician and a former senior administrator and corporate marketing manager. A long-standing figure in public life in the Loiret, she served as mayor of Meung-sur-Loire (population 7,000) from 2008 to 2023. She also served as president of the Terres du Val de Loire community of communes (population 50,000) between 2017 and 2023.



    At the same time, she has been a Loiret departmental councillor since 2015 and held the post of vice-president of the departmental council whilst also serving as president of the Association of Mayors of the Loiret department. In 2023, she was elected to the Senate. She is a member of the Les Républicains political group, chairs the Economic Affairs Committee and serves as vice-chair of the Business Delegation. In 2025, she was Vice-Chair of the parliamentary committee of inquiry into the remit of state agencies, operators and advisory bodies, and in 2026 she drafted a law currently under consideration in the Senate based on the committee’s findings.
