Philippe BESSET

After completing his State doctorate in pharmacy at the University of Toulouse in 1993, Philippe BESSET settles in 1994 as a licensed pharmacist in his hometown Limoux, where he still practises. An involved student, he has successively been from 1986 to 1991 president of the Toulouse pharmacy « corpo », member of the Executive Committee of the ANEPF and president of the FAGE. His commitment continues in the city as he heads up the list « Limoux Avenir » for the municipal elections in 1995. He seats as a city councillor until 2001. Member of the Executive Committee of the pharmacist union of Aude since 1998, he has been its president from 2001 to 2009. He joins the Executive Committee of the FSPF in 2007 as president of the economic commission in the context of transformation of the remuneration of pharmacists into conventional fees. He becomes first vice-president of the FSPF in charge of digital technology and information systems in 2013 and president of Résopharma in 2016 until his election as president of the FSPF in 2019. Member of the Executive Committee of Union nationale des professions libérales (UNAPL) since 2022 and vice-president in charge of health issues since 2025, he is also president of Libéraux de Santé (LDS) since 2003.
