Stéphanie DECOOPMAN

Stéphanie Decoopman is a graduate of Sciences Po Lille, the French School of Public Health - EHESP, and Paris Descartes University. She began her career at AP-HP (Assistance Publique – Hôpitaux de Paris) in 1998, holding successive management positions in several Parisian hospitals. In 2006, she joined Rouen University Hospital (CHU) as Director of Finance, before returning to AP-HP in 2009. In 2013, she was appointed Director of Robert-Debré Hospital. In 2017, she took over as Director of the Paris-Ouest University Hospitals. In 2018, she was appointed Head of Department at the French Ministry of Health’s Directorate General for Healthcare Provision (DGOS), where she contributed to national health policy. She returned to AP-HP in 2020 as Director of Research and Innovation, became Deputy Director General in 2021, and was appointed Chief Executive Officer of Rouen University Hospital in 2024. She also serves as Vice-Chair of the Research and Innovation Committee of the Conference of University Hospital Directors (DG de CHU).
