    Edouard Gasser is a French entrepreneur, founder and CEO of Tilak Healthcare, a start-up offering ophthalmological monitoring via medical gaming. After a career at Gameloft, in 2016 he co-founded Tilak with Professor José-Alain Sahel, a renowned world authority in ophthalmology. Jointly, they developed OdySight, a mobile app for patients with visual pathologies such as AMD or diabetic retinopathy. Prescribed by ophthalmologists, it enables regular remote monitoring of vision, thanks to clinical tests integrated into a gamified experience. The solution facilitates early detection of complications and improves treatment adherence. Already deployed in more than 25,000 patients and 1,200 ophthalmologists - i.e. around one in five ophthalmologists in France - it represents a major development in remote ophthalmological medical monitoring. Tilak now aims to become the world leader in home vision monitoring.
