    Frédéric Varnier, is the General Manager of the Caen Normandy University Hospital. He has held operational positions in both public and private health institutions, as Secretary General of the Centre Hospitalier Sud Francilien and then as Deputy General Manager of the Institut Gustave Roussy. His career has also included national-level responsibilities, first as an Inspector of Finances at the Ministry of the Economy (Bercy), then as an advisor to the Minister of Health from 2013 to 2017. He currently chairs the National center for hospital expertise - CNEH - and the Medical Affairs Commission of the University Hospital. He is the author of a book on the shift towards outpatient care.
