    François Lenglet began his journalism career in 1983 at the A Jour agency, then became editor-in-chief of Minitel Magazine in 1985-1986. After a stay in China, where he taught French literature and became a correspondent for L'Express, he joined the magazine Science et Vie Économie in France. In 1991, he joined L'Expansion and became deputy director in 1998. In 2000, he took over as editorial director of Enjeux-Les Echos, then of La Tribune in 2008. In 2012, he joined France 2 as editor-in-chief of the France department and hosted L'Angle éco. From 2013 to 2018, he presented the Lenglet-Co segment on RTL. In 2018, he joined TF1 and LCI, where he appears in the news programs and hosts Lenglet Déchiffre starting in 2019. An author of several books on economics, he also participates in conferences to discuss his analyses.
