Charles-Édouard ESCURAT

Involved in supporting the transformation of the healthcare sector, Charles-Édouard Escurat has been serving as the interim Director General of the Health Innovation Agency (AIS) since January 2025. He joined the agency in 2023, initially as Director of the Acceleration Division, before expanding his responsibilities to lead both the Acceleration and Support Divisions.

Prior to this, he was Deputy Director General of Resah (the Hospital Buyers’ Network) from 2020 to 2023, having already held various management and deputy general management positions there between 2012 and 2018. From 2018 to 2020, he served as Head of Procurement for the Île-de-France Region, where he notably contributed to the modernization of public procurement practices.

A trained legal expert, Charles-Édouard Escurat holds several degrees in public law and public administration, including a postgraduate degree (DEA) in public law (Évry Law Faculty), a Master’s degree in Law (Panthéon-Assas), and two professional Master’s degrees in Public Business Law and General Administration (Université Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne – ENS). He is also a graduate of ESCP Business School and holds certifications in procurement and logistics.
