Patrick JEURISSEN

I am a full professor of healthcare systems and finance at Radboud University Medical School and serve as global lead for health policy at Royal Philips. My career has spanned strategic policymaking at the Ministry of Health and has started with operational roles in hospital finance. With deep expertise at the intersection of health policy and health economics, I have designed and implemented strategic healthcare policies. I am the (co-)author of five books and over 125 peer-reviewed publications. I also serve as Associate Editor for Health Policy, a top-tier journal in the discipline.
My international experience includes long-term representation of the Dutch government at the WHO, EU, and OECD. I was the inaugural chair of the OECD’s Patient Reported Indicator Surveys (PaRiS) and have provided strategic consultancies on healthcare reform to organizations and governments in 10-15 countries across Europe and beyond. Education: Ph.D. in Health Economics and MPA in Public Finance, both from Erasmus University Rotterdam
