Pierre PRIBILE

Pierre Pribile has served as Director of Social Security since 29 April 2024.

Born in 1981, Pierre Pribile is a Chief Engineer of the Corps des Mines and a graduate of École Polytechnique (Class of 2001) and Mines Paris – PSL. He began his career as Head of the Industrial Development Division at the Burgundy Regional Directorate for Industry, Research and the Environment. He subsequently headed the Business and Regional Development Department at the Regional Directorate for Enterprises, Competition, Consumer Affairs, Labour and Employment in Burgundy and served as Economic Development Adviser to the Prefect of the Burgundy region (2007–2010).

From 2010 to 2012, he headed the Healthcare Products Unit within the Healthcare System Financing Sub-Directorate at the Directorate of Social Security. He then served as Adviser for Social Security Accounts—covering health insurance, occupational accidents and diseases, and family benefits—in the offices of Jérôme Cahuzac and subsequently Bernard Cazeneuve at the Ministry responsible for the Budget, from July 2012 to March 2014.
From 2014 to 2015, he was Director of Operations and Services to Policyholders at the Social Security Scheme for the Self-Employed (RSI). He then served as Adviser for Social Protection, Poverty Reduction and Social Security Accounts in the offices of Prime Ministers Manuel Valls (2015–2016) and Bernard Cazeneuve (December 2016–January 2017).
From January 2017 to September 2022, he served as Director General of the Bourgogne-Franche-Comté Regional Health Agency (ARS).

He was subsequently appointed Secretary General of the French ministries responsible for social affairs.
