Jean-François BROCHARD

With more than 30 years of international experience in the pharmaceutical industry, Jean-François Brochard has been General Manager of Roche Pharma France since May 2018. He is also actively involved in Roche’s global leadership team for the Pharma Division outside the United States and Japan (the International Network Enabling Team) and serves as President of Leem, having been elected to this position on June 9, 2026.

Before joining Roche, Jean-François Brochard built a strong career spanning nearly two decades at GSK. He held a wide range of senior leadership positions, including Commercial Director and Business Unit Director (France, Italy, and Global), as well as General Manager in Belgium and France.

His early career was marked by a strong international dimension within mid-sized pharmaceutical companies. He notably held marketing roles in Mexico, followed by a Business Development position in the United States, led Market Insights activities in France, and later served as General Manager in the Philippines.

A committed stakeholder in the healthcare ecosystem, he has placed his expertise at the service of the collective by serving on the Board of Leem (Les Entreprises du Médicament) since 2019, before being elected its President on 9 June 2026. As Chair of the Financing and Regulation Committee (CFR), he notably led strategic initiatives aimed at advancing the healthcare system and shaping the regulatory framework governing the pharmaceutical sector.
