    Laurence Comte-Arassus is President of Snitem, the French Medical Technology Industry Association.



    Following her tenure as Executive Director of Public Affairs for GE HealthCare across France, Belgium, Luxembourg and French-speaking Africa (FBFA), she is currently in a transition period before joining a leading international medical technology company on September 1, 2026, in a global executive leadership role.



    At GE HealthCare, she contributed to shaping the strategic agenda of an organization of more than 3,200 employees operating across 27 countries, supporting the delivery of innovative technologies, services and digital solutions to healthcare providers.



    A recognized leader in the medical technology sector, Laurence Comte-Arassus has more than 30 years of international executive experience. She began her career at Europe Computer System (ECS) before joining Boston Scientific. In 2002, she joined Medtronic, where she held several senior leadership positions within the Cardiac Rhythm Management, Heart Failure and Diabetes businesses. She was appointed Director of the Diabetes Business in France in 2008, followed by Director of the Cardiac and Vascular Group in 2012.



    In February 2015, she became President of Medtronic France, leading an organization of nearly 1,300 employees, including four manufacturing sites, a major training center and the company's French headquarters.



    Deeply committed to advancing healthcare innovation and strengthening the medical technology ecosystem, Laurence Comte-Arassus has served as President of Snitem since 2023. Since 2018, she has also been a member of the Supervisory Board of GS1 France. She serves on the Board of Directors of IHU ICAN (Institute of Cardiometabolism and Nutrition), GS1 France, and Steto, a company specializing in remote diabetes monitoring. She previously served for four years as a Board Member of Brenus.



    Laurence Comte-Arassus holds a Master's degree from ESTA Belfort and has completed executive education at Glasgow Caledonian University and The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.



    In recognition of her contributions to healthcare and the medical technology industry, she was awarded the title of Chevalier de la Légion d'honneur (Knight of the French National Order of the Legion of Honour) in 2024. In 2025, she was elected an Independent Member of the French National Academy of Surgery.
