Metaverse: valuable or futile?

Albert Meige has been an entrepreneur since his teenage years when he started selling magic shows. He is the founder of Presans, a startup he sold to the strategy consulting firm Arthur D. Little in 2020, and of which he is now Associate Director. Albert has been an Academic Director at HEC Paris and Mines-Telecom Institute. Trained as a Telecom Engineer, he holds a PhD in Computational Physics from the Australian National University and an MBA from HEC Paris Business School. In 2008, the French École Polytechnique awarded him its Innovation Prize. He is the author of many books and publications on innovation and digital transformation, over a dozen peer-reviewed academic articles, two patents, as well as the ministerial report “La Formation de l’Esprit Entrepreneur“ (2018). Albert is an ultra-trail runner and a seasoned photographer (www.meige.net). He can solve a Rubik's Cube in less than fifty seconds and loves (urban) exploration…

Laurent SOLLY

Laurent Solly joined Meta, formerly Facebook, in June 2013 as Managing Director for Facebook France to head the French Global Marketing Solutions team and lead Facebook's activities in the country. In September of 2016, in addition to his role for Facebook France, Laurent Solly was named Regional Director for Southern Europe and in 2017, he was named Vice-President for Facebook.
Prior to joining Meta, Laurent Solly held several strategic positions at TF1, the leading media group in France, notably as Director of TF1’s advertising network.
As a member of the Corps Préfectoral (Prefectural Body), he held several territorial positions (Lot-et-Garonne, Var, Territoire de Belfort) before being appointed Prefect in 2006. Laurent Solly worked alongside Nicolas Sarkozy (President of France from 2007 to 2012) as his Chief-of-Staff from 2004 to 2007.

Morgane Soulier is a multi-entrepreneur working in the area of digital health. She is also a consultant, a speaker and a lecturer.

Graduated from EM Lyon, HEC, and Sciences Po, she worked 8 years in big companies before starting her own structure in the digital healthcare industry and her consulting activity.

Convinced that new technologies can help improve the healthcare system, and further to a tedious personal healthcare journey, Morgane founded feeleat in 2019, a set of educational and therapeutic tools that connect the patient and his medical team for a better management of nutritional diseases.

Passionate about technological developments, she will publish in 2023 the first French book dedicated to the metaverse and its impact on our health, social, economic and societal concerns.
