A former preparatory school student for the French Grandes Ecoles, with a degree from Sciences-Po Bordeaux, and a former student at the School of Advanced Studies in Public Health, Marc Penaud rounded out his training with an MBA in Technological Management and Innovation from the Grenoble School of Management (GEM).
Currently Managing Director of the Toulouse University Hospital Center, he was Managing Director of the Mulhouse and South Alsace Region Hospital Group for two-and-a-half years and Deputy Managing Director of the Grenoble University Hospital Center for seven years. In various positions, he has implemented projects that aim to bring together research, industry and hospitals. He is a member of the French National Committee for Research Coordination and the Commission on Research and Innovation that is part of the University Hospital Center Directors Conference.
