Jeanne BOSSI MALAFOSSE is head of the Data Protection department and co-head of the Life Sciences department at DELSOL Avocats. She has significant experience in personal data protection and in various issues related to life sciences, in particular in the field of health information systems.

She started her career at the Caisse des Dépôts et Consignations before joining the CNIL where she spent 18 years. There, she was in particular in charge of the health sector, health insurance and medical research.

She then held the position of Secretary General of the Agence Nationale des Système d’Information Partagés de Santé (ASIP Santé), where she performed management functions and participated in defining the group's strategy and in launching national information system projects in consultation with health sector stakeholders.

She is an expert for the Conseil de l’Europe and a member of the Académie de Médecine's working group on Big Data and health. She was appointed as a qualified personality to the Scientific and Ethical Committee "Plateforme de données en cancérologie" ("Cancer Data Platform") of the French National Cancer Institute and to the General Assembly of the Health Data Hub.

She is a lecturer at Paris Descartes, at the Catholic Faculty of Lille, at the Faculty of Pharmacy of Châtenay-Malabry and at the Faculty of Bichat.

She has been nominated as a Leading individual in the Healthcare & Life sciences category of the Legal 500 EMEA 2022. She has also been named among the Lawyers of the Year 2022 in "Life Sciences" by Le Monde du Droit (Palmarès du Droit 2022).
