Maria BESTEIRO

Born in Spain in 1964, I studied general science up to the final year at Camille Sée high school in Paris, before moving towards medical studies at the Pitie Salpêtrière medical school.
Doctor of medicine, specialized in general medicine, I carried out general medicine replacements for 3 years before joining the team of doctor regulating the permanence of care at Samu 92.
I discovered repatriation assistance for the summer season at Axa-Assistance in 1994, obtained the medical transport and repatriation DU and after several years as a medical regulator and transporter, I was appointed deputy medical director of Axa Partners France. In 2014, I collaborated in setting up the medical teleconsultation service within Axa Partners, the first general medicine teleconsultation service in France.
In 2020, I am participating in the implementation of a medical chat service which allows policyholders to have medical advice online (prevention, information hygiene, orientation).
In possession of the certificate of leadership and complex management issued by Sciences Po Paris since June 2022.
