Françoise Alliot-Launois is President of AFLAR, French association of anti-rheumatic diseases – AFLAR, which speaks for 20 million French people. Elected, she has been the volunteer director for seven years. After completing her higher education, she began a career as a teacher and team leader. She created the first Lymphology Unit in France, taking care of patients following their cancers or children suffering from lymphatic malformations.

Civil servant and teacher, co-responsible for teaching in Master 2 at the Pierre and Marie Curie University, in "Coordination of the Chronic Diseases Pathway", interested and involved in the field of painting, she was involved very early in the workshop at the École Nationale des Beaux-Arts.

Françoise Alliot-Launois is the founder, Vice-President and honorary member of the French Society of Lymphology and the French Lymphoedema Partnership (PFL), an alliance of health professionals and patients.

Author of numerous articles, co-author in the collection "Therapeutic Education, Prevention and Chronic Diseases", she is the editor of the Journal of the AFLAR Association and participates in numerous national and international conferences in the field of health associations.

Françoise Alliot Launois brings her expertise with patient ambassadors, within commissions and working groups with supervisory and institutional bodies, ministerial cabinets and regional health agencies in the field of chronic disabling and painful diseases. In the same way, she works with elected representatives, senators and mayors, sponsors of the AFLAR.
Member of think tanks, Françoise Alliot-Launois works in the strategic and political field, for the benefit of French patients.
