Christophe Durand, 52, is a pharmacist, with a degree from Lyon University (1995) and a Master’s in marketing from HEC (1998). He began his career in the marketing department of L'Oréal (1998-2000) and then Wyeth Lederle (2000-2004). He has 25 years' experience in the pharmaceutical industry in management and general management positions. Before joining Celgene France, then Bristol Myers France, he was Managing Director France, Belgium, Netherlands, and Luxembourg of Alexion Pharmaceuticals (2016- 2018). He previously headed the Solid Tumours division of Novartis Oncology France (2012-2016), a group in which he worked from 2004 to 2010, as Marketing Manager for the Cardiovascular Metabolism division (2004-2008) and then as Sales Director for the Primary Care division (2009-2010). He has also held several positions at Pfizer France: Director of Market Access and Public Affairs (2011-2012) and Director of the Specialty Care division (2010-2011). Member of the Leem Board of Directors since 2018, first as Chairman of Celgene France and then as an executive of Bristol Myers Squibb France. He was appointed to Codeem in June 2020, a position he held until his appointment as Chairman of Leem's Commission on Patient Access to Therapeutic Progress on 22 November 2022.
