Amélie Lansiaux is the Head of Quality and Patient Safety Improvement Department
(DAQSS) at the French National Authority for Health (HAS).
Within the agency, this department is responsible for the development of good practice recommendations, pathways and relevance messages, as well as assessment and improvement mechanisms for quality and safety of care (certification of health care institutions, quality and safety of care indicators, accreditation of medical teams, continuous professional development methods, relevance and patient safety actions, development of digital tools).
A research physician specialist in oncobiology and a university hospitalist, she has run a university laboratory for translational cancer research (Lille Cancer Center and INSERM), a clinical research and innovation department (DRCI) in the group of hospitals of the Institut Catholique de Lille (GHICL) and was Vice President, R&D, Translational Medicine Oncology at IPSEN in Paris. At GHICL, Amélie Lansiaux was elected President of the Medical Commission (CME) and was President of the National Conference of Presidents of CME of private non-profit institutions. In this regard, she was a member of the HAS advisory commission for the quality and safety of care before taking over the management of the DAQSS a year ago.
