Clarisse Lhoste has been President of MSD France since March 1, 2019.
She has held various positions within MSD for the past 24 years, including heading the Belgian subsidiary and the City Medicine & Vaccines area within the Canadian subsidiary.
As representative in France of a major innovation and research pharmaceutical company, Clarisse Lhoste is keen to support the teams in their mission to promote fast access for patients to MSD drugs and vaccines, but also to consolidate the subsidiary's position as the leading contributor to oncology clinical trials after the United States, and to strengthen the development of public-private research partnerships with the MSDAVENIR academic research support fund.
In addition to her responsibilities at MSD France, Clarisse is Secretary of the Leem Board and Vice-President of Agipharm.
