Bernard Nordlinger is a surgeon and a professor at the University. He headed the digestive and oncological surgery department of the Ambroise Paré Hospital (APHP) and the digestive section of the European Organisation for Research and Treatment of Cancer (EORTC).
He chairs the "Digital" commission of the French National Academy of Medicine, and the CESREES (Ethical and Scientific Committee for Research, Studies and Evaluations in the Health Sector) - Ministry of Health and Ministry of Research.
