Etienne Minvielle is Director of the Management Research Center of the Ecole Polytechnique (i3-CRG, CNRS, Institut Polytechnique de Paris) where he is Director of Research CNRS and Lecturer. He is also a public health physician at Gustave Roussy. He is graduated from ESSEC, and holds a PhD in management (Ecole Polytechnique).
His research focuses on the organization of the healthcare system (patient journey and its personalization; role of digital; management of the unknown; quality and performance management) and has been published in the most recognized journals in the field (Nature Medicine, Social Science and Medicine, Public Administration Review, The BMJ).
He has recently published "Patient et le Système" (Ed. Seli Arslan, 2018) and "Voyage au Cœur du système de santé, 100 témoignages pour apprendre à gérer avec la crise " (Ed Eska, 2021). He holds the Sanofi-Ecole Polytechnique Chair in digital health. Finally, he is a member of various scientific and policy boards (French National Authority for Health - HAS, Université Paris Cité, Ramsay-GDS) and he received the Special Public Manager of the Year Award in 2016 (National Assembly).
