Paul Frappé is the president of the Collège de la Médecine Générale, the national professional council of the discipline.
Since his residency, he has been active in the intersyndicale coalition of residents in general practice (ISNAR-IMG), then in the French association of young researchers in general practice (FAYR-GP).
He is a general practitioner in Saint-Etienne, and he is the president of the Territorial Professional Health Community (CPTS) of the Greater Saint-Etienne.
Professor of General Medicine at the Jean Monnet University, he coordinates the Primary Care axis of the clinical Center of investigation 1408 at the University Hospital of Saint-Etienne.
His scientific work particularly focuses on thrombosis and anticoagulants in primary care. He is the author of several books.
