France

After 20 years (1989-2009) in the active service of the judicial police at the Paris police headquarters, where I have been dealing with petty, medium and serious crime (among other things, head of section at the anti-organized crime squad (BRB); setting up and management of two regional intervention groups (GIR) in Val-de-Marne and then in Paris, with the particularity of working in an interministerial context. Head of the 2nd judicial police district - eastern and northern districts of Paris, I then integrated and participated in the General Secretariat of the Ministry of the Interior in the prefiguration and creation of the CHEMI (Centre des hautes études du ministère de l'intérieur, now the IHEMI – Institute of advanced studies of the Ministry of the Interior) as Director of Training (2009-2011). Then I joined the Directorate of Resources and Skills of the National Police (DRCPN) of the General Directorate of the National Police (DGPN) and established and lead the Mission for the Reconversion and Reorientation of the Police (M2RP) in metropolitan France, which includes a national network of some thirty career mobility advisors (CMC). Some of them are responsible for advising national police officers who, through a voluntary and confidential process, wish to implement a professional transition project (advice, definition, orientation) for mobility or temporary or permanent reconversion outside the field of the national police, in the State, local or hospital civil service or in the private sector (in the broadest definition); and the other part of which is developing a network of local partnerships with employers in the public and private sectors in order to promote the skills of national police officers and to contribute to this mobility or reconversion (2011-2016). I then left my supervisory ministry and have since been assigned to the Ministry of Health and Prevention as a delegate for general security to the Director General of Health Care (DGOS), also in charge of the National Observatory of Violence in Health Care (ONVS).
